Europa Clipper Murals

In 2024, the Europa Clipper will venture out to see if Europa harbors conditions suitable for life. Europa has the ingredients essential for life: water, chemistry and energy. With scientists predicting that beneath Europa's surface has more water than Earth's oceans combined, Europa has the complex chemistry that makes life on Earth possible. With excitement for this mission as it enters its critical planning phases, the DesignLab and The Studio were approached to create two large-scale murals that would live in the offices of the team working on this groundbreaking mission. One mural exhibits the technical side of the spacecraft through the use of blueprints. The other mural holds a silhouette full model scale of the spacecraft with a background that emulates the scans of data coming through.

SWOT Press Launch

As the last launch of 2022, SWOT is responsible for surveying the Earth and to bring a better understanding of the world's oceans and its terrestrial surface waters. In a collaboration between NASA and CNES, this mission was developed to observe the fine details of the ocean's surface topography, and measure how water bodies change over time. Launched on December 16th, 2022, for the livestream and press conferences, the desk wraps and backdrops I designed were streamed to hundreds of thousands of viewers as they tuned in to see another successful launch by NASA.
